Regardless of what he saw, he was talking to Jesus same as to God.
We don't talk to angels that way. In fact, we arent supposed to talk to spirits at all.

Where Does Watchtower Doctrine Contradict Scripture?
by Vanderhoven7 inhere are some areas that i have found:.
not only is watchtower eschatology offbase, which is not critical, but so is watchtower soteriology … which is critical.
the bible says not to put trust in men who cannot save.

Best advice ever given by the current Gibbering Body!
by BoogerMan inthe october 2023 study watchtower - p. 18, par.
2 exhorts jw's to personally dig deeper into the scriptures.
"an excellent way to study the bible is to see how the var ious parts of its message connect together.

Good advice.

Luke 23:43 the NWT
by Ade inluke 23:43 - and jesus said to him, "positively i say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.
nwt places comma here , giving a totally different meaning to the verse.
now the average jw uses this to back their doctrine and it seems in itself virtually impossible to reason with them on it.

Rattigan - Millions of Christians reject the minority text as authoratative ... mainly because of the omissions. If you added up all the omissions in the Minority text, and subtract them from the Majority text, they would approximately equal the number of greek words in 1 and 2 Peter.
That is a lot of deletions. In two recently published translations of the New Testament – the Evangelical Heritage Version and the Modern English Version – John 3:13 ends with the phrase, “who is in heaven.”
It is supported by the vast majority (over 95%) of Greek manuscripts, as well as manuscripts written in Old Latin, the Vulgate, the Peshitta, the Ethiopic version, and a wide variety of early patristic writers.
Other people in the bible have been described as being in two places at the same time, with their body on earth and their soul or spirit in heaven at the same time. It is not unique. -

Watching the show
by Teddnzo ini’m new to apostate stuff but have gone deep down a few rabbit holes of late so want to see both sides to everything .
im going to a congregation but am viewed as a bit of a black sheep because i question lots of things but not enough to cause too much trouble.. i’m intrigued watching the show.
in my heart i’m pretty sure the governing body are fakes and charlatans.. the entire thing is a big con game.

which are the top several points that prove JWs wrong?
Welcome Teddnzo.
1. The top point is the denial of Justification for its members. I heard a millions times growing up that the New Covenant was only for 144K goverment position in God's Kindgom, and therefore, not for me.
But the bible says that the new covenant is "for the forgiveness of sins" MT. 26: 27-28
Romans 5: 1, 9 says that you cannot escape the wrath of God without being Justified.
You can never be good enough to avoid an adverse judgement because " all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags" (Is. 64: 6) And, "there is no one righteous, no not one".2. The "All other organizations are false" WT doctrine. Looks like you still struggle with this one. There are lots of good individually goverened groups of Christians out there. Got is saving individuals.... not religions. That is the key point.
The reason we need a persoanl saviour, is because Hebrews 9:27 says there will be a personal judgment AFTER we die. We are not being judged now on how we respond to WT literature. That is absurd.
3. Gal. 1: 8,9 says that if we believe or preach anything other than what the apostles preached, we are "CURSED". This scripture alone destroys most of WT teachings because they admit that things like their two-tier salvation scheme wasn't taught by the apostles. The whole concept of "new light" is destroyed by Gal. 1:8,9

And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. - Acts 7: 59
If I remember correctly, the original large print NWT bible has a footnote for this verse that characterizes this as a prayer. Look it up. I believe this was removed from later additions of the NWT. -

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Jesus was in heaven at the same time he was on earth.
Why? Because he is a tripartite being like us. Only his spirit was God almighty, which is not like us.
…can’t pick and choose scriptures

"How Long Would Jesus' Reign Be?"
by BoogerMan insimple enough question for a jw to answer, because the org has told them for over 100 years that, .
a) jesus would reign for 1000 years, and.
b) that his reign began in 1914 when he became king.

Therefore, we are now 109 years into the millennium, with only another 891 years left to go.
Boogerman is correct, The WT wants it both ways to try and make it fit the bible.
On the one hand they want the kingdom to start in 1914 so they they can claim that the church age is over, and with it all the promises of God. That way they can claim that the dispensation of grace has ended and that we are now in the millinium where people are now judged on how they respond the "Kingdom Message"... as opposed to the "ministry of reconciliation" wrought by the blood of Christ and administed by the New Covenant "for the forgiveness of sins" (Mt. 26: 27-28)
The problem is that there are scriptures that indicate that the establishment of the Millinium Kingdom coinsides with the overthrow of Satan - the prince of this world. Satan will then be locked up for one thousand years - for a millinia.
But if the Kindom started in 1914, then that means Satan will only be locked up for 891 years (as of today). The WT teaches that Satan is still ruler of this world and isn't locked up yet.So, the WT is stuck with the contradictory teaching that the Millinium Kingdom both started, and did not start in 1914.

“Sadly, some Witnesses were killed by soldiers and others for refusing to fight in the war in obedience to God’s command in the Bible – You must not kill (EXODUS 20:13).
Yet, they have no problem calling for armed police who are trained to kill if their property is threatened. Why aren't they pacificists when their property$ are threatened?
